Elektrophysik's MiniTest7400FH measuring device is designed for non-destructive wall thickness measurements up to 24 mm-suitable for a wide range of non-magnetic hollow objects. For example, bottles, aluminum cans and glass and plastic containers with complex geometries fall into this category. When it comes to larger hollow objects, such as tanks or pipes made of hard materials such as metals, composites, glass, ceramics, etc., MiniTest400 series ultrasonic thickness gauges can help you. The device can measure thickness from 0.65 mm to 500 mm. Here are more details about wall thickness gauges in this series:
MiniTest420– Rugged entry-level model with * important essential features
MiniTest430– has more features and USB interface
MiniTest 440 high-end thickness gauge, also able to measure through coatings–
MiniTest420 High-end wall thickness measuring equipment for nondestructive measurements up to 24 mm. MiniTest7400FH allows you to comfortably measure the thickness of non-magnetic materials such as glass, composites, stainless steel and composites. Parts with complex geometries can also be easily measured.
MiniTest7400FH: High-end equipment for wall thickness measurement
The SIDSP sensor means that the MiniTest7400FH provides high accuracy and reproducibility while compensating for temperature effects in the measurement environment and in the object under test. The sensors are equipped with carbide tips, making them particularly durable.
Elektrophysik's MiniTest7400FH functions as follows: Determine thickness by measuring the distance from the reference sphere to the sensor tip. The reference ball is attracted by a powerful magnet located directly behind the sensor tip. Steel reference balls are processed according to a special ElektroPhysik procedure that allows repeatability of test results up to 0.5%.
use
Nondestructive wall thickness measurement:
Non-magnetic materials, such as synthetic materials, glass, ceramics, non-ferrous metals...
Hollow objects such as bottles, aluminum cans, glass and plastic containers with complex geometries...
Thermoformed parts such as cups, jars, bowls...
Die-cast and moulded plastic parts, fibre composites, non-ferrous metals, etc., for example in the automotive sector (gearbox, body and interior parts), in avionics (turbine parts, combustion chambers, high-pressure piping), in the medical sector.
